At Girolabs we are dedicated to developing mobile applications, web pages, and other technological solutions, we define ourselves as a technology company. Beyond that, removing labels, we are a company that cares about society and the environment.

We spend half of our lives at work, and it is our responsibility as a company to care about the well-being of our team. As a result, all of our team meetings begin with us sharing about our personal lives, day-to-day anecdotes, before discussing the state of mind with wich we are going to face the day, and after that we get to work.

In order to stimulate creativity, one of the most important pillars at Girolabs, we created Giroday, a monthly space where we dream together about the company we want to work for.

The entire Girolabs payroll is registered within the Social Health Insurance IPS, complying with the commitment of medical insurance and retirement, respecting the Company’s Policies that range from flexible hours, maternity leave, and choice of providers, making our company the best place to work.

We offer internship programs where we support both: university and self-taught students. It entails giving young people the chance to gain job experience and advance their professional development, while enhancing academic training.

Additionally, we think networking with other community members has a positive impact, which is why we created GiroTalks, regular gatherings with influential figures from our and other industries who share their experiences on topics of interest to our team in an hour-long meeting. This benefits both our company and every outside participant who attends as a listener.

But our contribution to society doesn’t end there; we also think that knowledge should be shared, which is why we started the GiroBlog. In this site, we write about our experiences and what we’ve learned in an effort to somehow use our experiences to help others grow.

By lowering our carbon footprint and creating high-caliber software from the comfort of our homes, remote work enables us to better our own and others’ quality of life. Remote work has nothing to do with the technology we employ; rather, it has to do with the confidence in a team that is dedicated to the mission of the company and to their coworkers, whom they not only know but also recognize as friends.

By having an office only for some face-to-face meetings, we made it as sustainable as possible, emphasizing energy savings through intelligent automation, and applying IoT technology. We also recycle our plastics and glass, leaving them at the Ecological Solutions eco points. All our organic waste goes to our Panambi Recicla composting machine.

We believe in transparency, sharing everything, without secrets or hidden intentions, from our business statements, and financial statements with the team as well as our achievements, even our failures, because we are all in the same boat.

Like families, companies are the basis of our society to generate new sustainable habits, honest people, and commitment to the social development of our country.

50% of our clients are companies and social organizations. In addition, we are committed to donating at least 5% of our annual turnover in a pro bono format, with our services, to initiatives that do not have the resources to acquire software development services.
