The Challenge

The Ministry of Health of Paraguay faced difficulties in its referral processes for early childhood patients with developmental problems.

The shortage of specialized professionals aggravated the situation, highlighting the need for a tool capable of identifying cases without relying exclusively on highly specialized personnel.

Design

As for the design process, we use Figma, a tool which allows our team to work collaboratively with our clients by offering an interactive, detailed and real-time view of the design progress.

Development

Using the Scrum methodology, we developed the platform using Django Rest Framework, a Python-based framework, for the backend. For the frontend, we used React, a JavaScript-based framework.

Training

Once the website is up and running, we teach our clients everything they need to know so they can make their own modifications and updates. Through a few training sessions, they learn to manage their website by themselves.

Maintance

We understand the need to have developers on hand for urgent matters or simple inquiries about how to do it, so we offer support after the project is complete with our team of professionals.

Result

In response to this need, an Early Intervention System was developed, a platform designed for assessing patients in early childhood to identify potential developmental issues and subsequently refer them to specialized professionals as needed.

This tool facilitated streamlining and optimizing the early detection process, saving both time and costs associated with the involvement of highly specialized medical professionals. As a result, the capacity for care was increased, allowing a greater number of children to receive the support and attention necessary to address their developmental issues in the early stages. Additionally, the efficiency of available resources in the healthcare system was enhanced, ensuring a quicker and more effective intervention for those in need.

This initiative has significantly contributed to improving the quality of life for children and their families, as well as optimizing the resources of the Ministry of Health of Paraguay in the field of early healthcare attention.
