About
Behind Chiki Plan are two parents of young children who came up with the idea of offering families the space they themselves were looking for; a platform that informs about all the activities available to the little ones, and that facilitates the search and purchase to the parents.
By offering this space only through Instagram, they ran into many limitations in communication and resources for the possibility of expansion.
The challenge
After creating a network of connection between supply and demand of activities for families through social networks, Chiki Plan saw the need to expand to a platform where they can continue to offer these incredible experiences and products, but this time on a larger scale.
Being an online store and blog, they needed an integral solution that could cover both needs without being very complex when it comes to its administration.
Technology and process
Design
As for the design process, we use Figma, a tool which allows our team to work collaboratively with our clients by offering an interactive, detailed and real-time view of the design progress.
Development
For the development of this website we used WordPress with Elementor and Woocommerce plugins, allowing our clients to manage and customize their online business without requiring advanced technical knowledge.
Woocommerce
Woocommerce is the most used ecommerce manager in the world, it offers basic and advanced functionalities such as: stock control, image gallery, product categories, discount code, order management, integration with national and international payment gateways, email notification system, among others. In addition, it is an extremely flexible tool that adapts to any business model, including through API integrations.
SEO
For all our projects we take into account search engine optimization (SEO), security, performance and loading speed of the web for an optimal user experience.
The result
From some ideation sessions together with the client, we managed to shape the desired vision: a multifunctional site with an excellent experience for users interested, both in offering their services, and in acquiring them. As well as an information platform for families, customized according to the objectives thanks to the plugins and integrated functionalities.
